WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).

• In this role, you are responsible for managing customer and supplier financing structures that support commercial decision-making while ensuring appropriate risk protection.
• You design, negotiate, and oversee financing solutions that enable business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance the commercial performance of the company.
• This includes evaluating financing needs across markets, aligning with internal stakeholders on commercial and risk parameters, and ensuring that all structures comply with internal governance standards.
• By continuously monitoring market practices, customer creditworthiness, and portfolio performance, you will contribute to an efficient, transparent, and risk-controlled customer financing framework.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• completed degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification as well as a strong background in corporate finance, credit management, sales financing, or treasury, ideally in an international environment
• solid understanding of customer and supplier financing instruments and commercial contract structures as well as the ability to balance commercial opportunities with financial risk mitigation
• experience negotiating with external financial institutions or customers and familiarity with credit assessment methodologies and internal control frameworks
• analytical mindset with the capability to assess financial data, business cases, and risk indicators
• strong communication skills and ability to translate complex financing concepts into clear recommendations
• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
• proactive working style, high accountability, and strong collaboration skills across functions
• excellent English skills, both written and spoken
