WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).

• In this role, you take full ownership of AP Group's consolidated financial planning processes, delivering high-quality and reliable outputs for both internal and external stakeholders.
• A key part of your responsibilities is overseeing the financial forecast and continuously updating it to reflect the latest business developments, risks, and opportunities. 
• You also manage the preparation and update of the long-term financial plan, ensuring strategic alignment, long-term capital structure considerations, and consistency with AP's mid to long-term ambitions. Moreover, you support the preparation and monthly update of the liquidity plan to maintain short-term visibility and enable proactive steering. 
• To ensure excellence across the organization, you establish robust planning frameworks, governance standards, and quality controls throughout AP Group. You collaborate closely with Treasury, Controlling, Tax, Accounting, and senior management to secure seamless alignment between financial planning, liquidity management, treasury risk steering, and strategic decision-making.
• As the central expert for AP's financial planning processes, you provide senior management with insights, scenario analyses, and decision-support. Furthermore, you identify opportunities to streamline and enhance planning processes by leveraging digital tools and best practice methodologies.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• completed degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification
• strong experience in Accounting, Treasury, or Financial Forecasting as well as experience working with senior stakeholders in an international environment
• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
• excellent analytical and conceptual skills with strong attention to detail
• confident user of MS Excel and experience with treasury systems (e.g., SAP)
• excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
