WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As Regulatory Affairs Specialist your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure timely UK REACH implementation at BASF by developing, tracking, and communicating project plans to achieve compliance during all implementation phases.
• Spearhead strategic regulatory compliance activities and processes related to UK chemicals legislation, including REACH and CLP.
• Stay ahead of the curve by proactively monitoring new and amended UK chemicals legislation, analysing their impact on our business, and communicating insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve potential product compliance issues to minimise impact on the manufacture and sale of our products.
• Provide expert regulatory guidance and collaborate with a wide range of internal teams and external stakeholders such as associations, authorities, customers, policymakers and suppliers.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• A degree in Chemistry, a related science, or a legal qualification.
• Proven experience in a regulatory and/or product safety role, with extensive knowledge of UK chemicals legislation, IUCLID, and SAP systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft and SAP.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to work unsupervised and possessing strong project manager skills.
