Area:
Purchase to Pay Services Americas (P2P) is part of the Supplier and Reporting (GBR) cluster and includes Procurement and Accounts Payable E2E Services for the entire Americas region. In P2P, we are responsible for acquiring goods and services, up to the payment stage. Our area is responsible for processing plant demands and paying invoices on time to avoid delays in the production process. Everything necessary for a chemical plant to operate is acquired by P2P: chemicals, reagents, gloves, food, etc.
Main Objective of the Position:
The purpose of the role is to guarantee the execution of the payments for the liabilities that are in the condition of being paid and the corresponding resolution of the payment rejections.
Main Tasks:
- Perform the payment controls before the automatic payment proposals and run F-110 monitor after payment proposals and execution on a weekly basis the VMD quality macro to anticipate potential payment errors and address those errors with Business Oriented teams. Run F-110 monitor after payment proposals.
- Execute the manual payment proposal based on the requests received.
- Monitor and resolve the payment rejections and returns within the SLA and ensure daily and monthly reconciliation of the Circula to accomplish the month-end close deadlines. Perform Vendor Master Data account maintenance whenever an inconsistency is detected.
- Give support to stakeholders in relation to payment inquiries.
- Collaborate and participate in UAT testing for regression tests and FRC cycles if required.
- Analyze and clear the overdue open items within the threshold aligned for the category “Compliant”
- Coordinate with the business-oriented team focal points to review and take action on error management, quality, and payment accuracy analysis with a view to improving the KPIs.
- Work with CM, Treasury, and the Legal entity to increase the payment frequency, automation of the process, and reduce manual efforts.
Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:
- Education | Graduate or Advanced students of Public Accounting, Business Administration, International Business or finance related.
- Work Experience | 2 - 3 years of experience in finance functions. Experience in tasks related to Treasury/payment execution and audit is a plus.
- Languages | Advanced level of English proficiency in both oral and written communication.
- Technical Skills | Advanced proficiency in MS Office is essential. Knowledge of SAP, familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology and Power BI is valued.
- Soft Skills | Continuous improvement mindset, analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, customer focus.
