Senior Specialist People Data Analyst (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As a Senior Specialist in our People Data Reporting & Analytics team, you play a key role in analyzing people data on a global level. This role comes with a contract of two years and can be performed from our Berlin office, hybrid, or remotely from any location within Germany, with two office days per month. Your responsibilities include:

• Data Visualization: You merge HR data from different sources and visualize them in digital dashboards, as well as implement custom applications for our stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: You analyze structural data and interpret trends to gain insights, draw conclusions, and create scenarios.
• Collaboration: You work closely with service recipients to translate questions into analytical problems, using research methods and visualization techniques to generate insights.
• Communication: You communicate and fine-tune your results in a target group-oriented manner, advising our global internal partners in the BASF Group and understanding their needs.
• Innovation: You drive forward automation and efficiency initiatives in your area of responsibility, collaborating with specialists across units.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• university degree in economics, social sciences, or a comparable field
• experience in using visualization and automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate) or Visier, as well as SAP (module HCM, SAP BI, R)
• advanced handling of MS Office standard applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• strong analytical thinking and a target- and result-oriented approach to tasks
• reliable and structured way of working, with a high degree of personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
• excellent communication skills in English; German skills are a plus

WHAT WE OFFER

• Gross annual salary (full-time): 48.000 – 52.000€, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance
• 30 days of paid vacation, special leave and sabbatical options.
• Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
• Work mobile from other EU countries for up to six weeks.
