We as Global Digital Services enable BASF's digitalization. In agile teams, we develop innovative digital solutions for BASF and its customers, create new exciting customer experiences and business growth, and drive efficiencies in processes. We provide IT that works and offer know-how and access to latest technologies in the areas of cloud computing, blockchain or big data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In our Product Family Core Systems & Foundation you will be a part of the team Core Systems which is responsible for the central SAP systems of BASF group and will be responsible for software development topics

• As part of the NGBA project you ensure that modern software development technologies will be applied in our future landscape
• You define rules, guidelines and learnings for the development on the SAP environment and continuously develop them further
• Together with experts from the SAP-related product families you introduce and drive measures to reduce complexity in our developments, to standardize the SAP platform and ensure future readiness
• You lead working groups to accomplish the defined targets and work closely together with all SAP-related product families in the core systems community
• You actively contribute to NGBA and other strategic projects impacting the SAP landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Business SCM or Computer Science and professional experience in the SAP environment, including development
• Very good organizational skills and experience with project management
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Act as a team player, support ideas from team members and encourage collaboration to achieve the best results
• Critically thinking and open to new trends and innovations, and know how to think strategically and act entrepreneurially
