Regulatory Specialist
Objectives of the Position:
- Provide support for the regulatory department to ensure efficient and compliant business processes and environment.
- Assist in the registration of products by preparing and submitting documentation needed for registration.
Main Tasks:
Administration Roles
- Managing all stages of regulatory project from planning, executing, controlling and monitoring product registration process.
- Ensure all registration process including documents to be fully compliant.
- Keep relevant databases updated.
Operational Roles
- Submit the necessary documents to Ministry of Agriculture via online submission as required.
- Monitor the clearances process of sample import and provide necessary administrative Regulatory relevant support.
- Ensure all registration trials running smoothly and finish on time.
- Ensure commercial label to follow current regulation from authorities, stewardship guideline and BASF AP labelling guideline.
- Support product stewardship implementation in the country.
Maintaining Relationship roles
- Build an external relationship with the authorities and other relevant stakeholders within the company compliance guidance.
- Build networking to facilitate product registrations and acceptance of BASF products.
Regulatory and Advocacy roles
- Provide information about the new regulation after announced.
- Represent the company in Industry association Regulatory task force activity.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in an agricultural or other related field.
- Minimum 4 years in the similar position.
- Knowledge in regulatory framework for pesticide registration
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, analyse range of studies and extract relevant information for drafting of comprehensive dossier for submission
- Knowledge in Regulatory Authorities, universities, research institute and other Regulatory relevant institutions
- Strong communication skills (good in writing and speaking English).
- Computer literate. (good in using Ms. Word, Excel,).
- Good analytical thinking
- Ability to periodically travel to visit trials or stakeholder engagement
