Sr. I/E Technician
Objective of the Position:
- To Support Maintenance Activity for Site Merak Plant (Process Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Utility Plant, QC)
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:
EHS (Environmental, Health, & Safety):
- Support EHS function as a first aider officer or HAZMAT team or Fire Team
- Act as AK3L
E&I and Maintenance:
- Engineering, modification and troubleshooting work for DCS (Delta V) and PLC
- Do Calibration, Preventive, Predictive and Corrective maintenance for field instruments such as (L, P&T) transmitters, flowmeter, control valves, analyzers, gas detectors and all equipment related to field instrumentation
- Do Preventive, Predictive and Corrective maintenance for electrical facilities 20KV, 400V and 220V such as Trafo, Switchgear, MCC, Capacitor bank and motors
- Overhaul the main instrument including control and on-off valves, analyzers
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of preventive/periodical maintenance activities
- Prepare Work permit and HSE requirement related to the job
- Instruct and lead technician for maintenance troubleshooting
- Respond to emergency situations as necessary (on-call)
- Carry out all routine/non-routine maintenance work related to Instrument Equipment, includes regular maintenance patrol, evaluate and take necessary action to fix any electrical problem or follow up problem found by operation or utility department
- Implement the Instruments field activity to follow the work instruction and procedure correctly to increase productivity and keep production process smoothly
- Support for any compliance audit
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor/Diploma degree majoring Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation / Engineering Physics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in related field (Bachelor Degree)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in related field (Diploma)
- Hands on experience in field instrument such as troubleshooting, calibration and preventive maintenance (Flowmeter, Pressure Transmitter, Level Transmitter, Control Valve, etc)
- Hands on experience in Electrical Equipment such as troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance (Transformer, Circuit breaker, MCC. Switch gear, 1 & 3 Phase motor)
- Hands on experience in programming and troubleshooting DCS and PLC for plant process
- Hands on experience in electrical safety and EHS requirement in petrochemical field
