Responsibilities and Key Outcomes 

• You will be responsible for the following key deliverables:
• Deploy web applications (frontend, backend) to MS Azure & Microservices (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Create and Manage Azure Components (Databases, Application Gateway, Frontdoor, IoT Hub, etc.)
• Create, manage, oversee Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment Pipelines
• Troubleshoot Application Builds
• Implement Security Best Practices
• Leverage (MS Azure) Logging & Monitoring to continuously observe the environment
• Consult and design technical solution considering feasibility, IS architecture & policies and cost efficiency
• Identify and implement technological improvement Measures

Job Requirements 

Education and work experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar experience
• Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role: 3+ years

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)

• Solid understanding of Azure Devops and Azure Portal
• Able to understand Developer’s language; required to translate and implement their needs in Azure DevOps
• You are well experienced working with CI/CD pipelining tools
• You have multiple years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform and have applied them in numerous projects to implement scalable and reliable infrastructure
• Working Knowledge of PostgresSQL
• Experienced in dealing with GitHub 

Technical & Professional Knowledge (additional plus/nice to have skills)

• Understand Business requirements
• Ability to create technical documentation
• Present & explain work results within team and stakeholder community
• Scripting (Bash, Powershell)
• Experience in agile working methods / experience in Kanban 
• You are able to create and maintain Build Agent Pools
• Maven and NPM builds knowledge as well as Sonarqube Pipeline Integration
