We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner II to join our CI team in Geismar, LA.

As a key resource within the CIN regional Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of finite material planning focused on own manufactured products at the Geismar Carboxy Plants.  We are seeking someone like you, a self-starter who can effectively manage several high-profile products concurrently.  You will work with several internal functions, including Global and Regional Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Controlling, Customer Care, and Procurement.

As a Supply Chain Planner II, you create chemistry by...

• Leveraging your educational background and professional experience in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field, you will analyze and plan finite production requirements through use of your understanding of operational capabilities, known demand, and inventory targets.
• Successfully engaging across the organization, you will collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Quality/Regulatory, Customer Care and Global Supply Chain to monitor orders, storage capacities, stock status, and SAP exceptions, ensuring that products are available to support customer requirements.
• Using your knowledge and experience, you will utilize functionalities in OMP and SAP to develop the appropriate finite production plans.
• Utilizing your understanding of the products and production processes, you will order and monitor raw materials to ensure sufficient supply to meet production needs.
• Building on your attention to detail, you will manage the monthly closing activities for the Carboxy Plants.
• Demonstrating your planning experience, you will review the health of inventory and find resolution opportunities for dysfunctional inventory.
• Utilizing your superior analytical skills, combined with your thorough knowledge of current SCM concepts, you will be a valued asset as you define and participate in projects targeted to specific opportunities in SCM.
