RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • In your role as Regulatory Toxicologist, you will develop, communicate and implement regulatory science strategies and defend these at internal and external stakeholders;
  • You will be responsible for the coordination of global, regional and national toxicologist issues of an active ingredient and its products;
  • Furthermore, you will plan and monitor toxicological studies conducted at BASF, international contract laboratories as well as universities;
  • You will prepare regulatory toxicological documents (e.g. dossiers, risk assessments) according to the compliance, safety and budget requirements;
  • Last but not least, you will develop and implement new ideas, concepts and approaches, as well as be responsible for keeping up with implementing the newest developments in the toxicological arena (e.g. guidelines, regulations, guidance documents).

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Master’s degree or PhD in biology, food chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutics or a comparable course of studies;
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the registration and risk assessment of (agro)chemicals or pharmaceuticals;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as  part of a global team;
  • Strategic thinking, determination and performance orientation are desired qualities;
  • You have an excellent command of French and English.
