Objective of the Position

The Process Intern will support in various projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing and improving the plant's manufacturing processes. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to the field of engineering plastics within a dynamic and challenging industrial environment. The intern will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the successful implementation of process improvement initiatives.

 

Main Tasks

  • Revising/Reviewing process safety documentations for Performance Materials Asia (PMA) Plant.
  • Assist in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Support in conducting process and cost optimization studies.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for process improvement projects.
  • Review and Revise forms and checklists related to Work Instructions or Operating Procedures.
  • To check and create documents as per Management of Change (MOC) requirement.
  • To help with P&ID review for PMA Plant and help to coordinate the changes with drafter.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Manufacturing Systems.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint and etc.
  • Willing to work at Pasir Gudang.
  • Able to work independently
