What you can expect

The Automation Technology unit develops and implements innovations and solutions in the areas of process control systems, production management systems and process management.

  • As a member of the team, you will work with plant and Equipment operators and the engineering and maintenance units to develop individual and conceptual solutions for process control engineering.
  • Within the scope of digitization of our production facilities, you will implement modern lifecycle concepts for process control systems, thereby making a substantial contribution to our economic success.
  • With support from the global BASF specific units for Automation technology, you will further develop and refine our expertise on a productive basis.
  • You will commission PCS service providers to implement your solutions and assume responsibility for quality control and for accepting the work performed.
  • You will expand on your qualifications on an ongoing basis by participating in subject-specific seminars, training sessions and informational events.

What we expect

  • You have a master’s degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering or process control engineering and already have several years of professional experience.
  • You communicate honestly and empathetically in German and English and support results-oriented teamwork.
  • You also enjoy working creatively and developing and implementing new things.
  • You achieve customer focus through an engaged, solution-oriented manner.
