What you can expect

In the position of Research Scientist (m/f/d) Chemical Research, you will manage your own lab team within our Functional Molecules and Ionic Liquids unit and support us in developing new technical active ingredients.

  • You will develop multiphase organic syntheses and further develop our products with cooperation partners on the basis of their application tests.
  • In addition, you will forge ties with operational units and scientific as well as research partners and acquire new projects for your team.
  • You will advance strategically important and/or complex projects with a focus on markets and customers, along with product developments, and will monitor, assess as well as document their progress and milestones.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the compliance of occupational health, safety and environmental rules as well as regulations within your area of responsibility and initiate risk assessments and identify appropriate actions.

What we expect

  • You have a doctorate in chemistry, on which you earned above-average marks.
  • You have excellent knowledge and skills in the area of organic synthesis.
  • You are familiar with the use of the standard computer applications and can communicate excellently in German and English.
  • You are distinguished by strong communication skills and are able to advance sustainable and innovative solutions as part of a team.
