What you can expect

Within the Process Development Intermediates CI group, we develop new methods for the Chemical Intermediates unit, using simulations that are confirmed in mini plants and pilot facilities on an experimental basis in the process.

  • In this position, you will define, initiate and work on projects and highlight areas where there is potential for optimization in the process.
  • In addition, you will manage your employees who are involved in the project in subject-specific terms.
  • Beyond that, you will be responsible for compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental rules and regulations within your area of responsibility and will perform risk assessments.
  • You will build a lasting network with operational units as well as scientific and research partners and will observe new methods, market trends and competitor activities.

What we expect

  • You have a degree in process engineering or chemical engineering, in which you earned excellent marks, and have ideally gone on to earn a doctorate.
  • Furthermore, you already have initial professional experience, knowledge and skills relating to thermal process engineering and process simulation.
  • In addition, you enjoy developing creative solutions and drive change forward.
  • You communicate clearly and authentically in both German and English.
  • Last but not least, you enjoy contributing actively within your team in order to achieve successes together.
