What you can expect

Our interdisciplinary digitalisation team drives the digital transformation of one of our largest production sites forward. We use modern methods drawn from applied mathematics, data science, computer science and automation technology.
Machine learning, big data analytics and model-based simulation and optimization are the focus in particular.

  • As part of these duties, you will ensure efficient project work and compliance with goals regarding to budgets, scope and quality as well as assume responsibility for subject-specific project management tasks.
  • You will act as a point of contact, advising internal and external customers at the conceptual level regarding to innovative digital applications and support customers in the process of practical implementation.
  • Furthermore, you support digitalisation projects and drive them forward while ensuring the further development and evolution of processes, methods and tools as well as the growth and development of your colleagues within this specific subject.
  • In addition, you will work within interdisciplinary project teams, cooperating with data scientists, process engineers, process and production managers and IT experts, both on site and externally.

What we expect

  • You hold an degree in technology, engineering, natural science or business and economics.
  • Furthermore, you have at least four years of professional experience in digital topics such as smart manufacturing, digital engineering, IoT or industrial analytics and project management.
  • In addition, you are in step with the latest digital trends and familiarize yourself with new applications for digitalisation, such as digital plant, vertical integration, augmented reality and predictive maintenance.
  • You enjoy driving change forward and contributing within your team in order to achieve goals together.
  • Communication is your strength, as you have the ability to conduct conversations and discussions in English and German as well as adopting the viewpoints of others in order to advise them.
