From the first idea for a new production facility through to commissioning thereof, our "Major Project and Turnaround Management" unit partners with the divisions in the process of making decisions and realizing investment projects.

• You will plan our new facilities for BASF in Asia.
• During the conceptualization phase, which will take place in Ludwigshafen, you will work closely with project stakeholders from Germany, elsewhere in Europe and Asia and with our partners.
• In the process, you will support the project handling strategy, coordinate both those involved in the project and suppliers and develop the conceptual plans.
• You will monitor our contractors and ensure that our projects are handled through to completion on time and on budget.
• You will provide subject-specific support for personnel selection and employee development.
• After the two-year conceptualization phase, you will have the opportunity to continue to monitor and support the detailed planning and realization of the facilities in Asia.

• You have a degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering or chemical engineering and have professional experience in project planning for plants and equipment.
• You also have knowledge in the fields of process engineering and plant engineering and skills in project management.
• You view communication and interaction with others as offering great added value, and you always take ecological and economic aspects into account in your actions.
• You use your good English language skills to communicate with others within the international community.
