What you can expect

Our unit Engineering & Maintenance IT is looking for a candidate (m/f/d) to help with the integration of various engineering tools for plant and equipment planning. Our goal is to integrate all of the engineering data for a chemical plant during its lifecycle.

  • You will complite the requirements of the specific units through requirements engineering and will prepare detailed technical specifications.
  • In addition, you will implement adjustments and interfaces involving the integration platform and will manage suppliers during the implementation of larger measures.
  • You will ensure that system interfaces are ready to use, adjust the configuration and work with suppliers to identify the solution quickly in the event of faults.
  • Among other things, you will support the teams during the commissioning of the integration environment and will provide user support.

What we expect

  • You have a degree in engineering, computer science or a comparable discipline.
  • In addition, you have proven your IT skills in an industrial environment, preferably in the area of engineering data management systems or product data management systems.
  • You can familiarize yourself with complex IT systems quickly and maintain a big-picture view of matters.
  • Moreover, you also have fundamental programming skills in .NET or script languages.
  • You are persuasive in presentations and when conducting discussions due you are determined and contribute actively within the team in order to achieve goals together.
