What you can expect

As a Warehouse Operator, you will carry out warehousing duties inside the main warehouse and drive all trucks needed for daily operations. This includes picking & putting away pallets and loading vehicles safely to prevent any damage and loss.

  • You will tram stock to and from the works areas ensuring that works safety standards are maintained and stock is managed as required by each works area.
  • You will maintain the highest standards of safety within the high throughput warehouses and ensure that the operations of receipt, handling and dispatch are carried out according to good housekeeping practice.
  • You will support the automated packing line by performing various warehousing duties including driving a flex-truck and helping with tray preparation.
  • You will load UK and export vehicles and ensure that all load details are correct, labels are applied and checked and that the highest standards for load security are maintained.
  • You will work in the hazard and flammable stores area ensuring that all safety measures are taken when handling hazardous goods.
  • You will also work in the gas bottle storage area ensuring that the rules of segregation are maintained at all times and gas bottles are managed safely.

What we expect

  • You have 3 GCSE passes or equivalent including English Language, Mathematics and one Science subject.
  • You have a Fork Lift Truck license with at least 1 year of experience
  • You also have a VNA license.
  • You have knowledge of product segregation regulations.
  • A basic level of IT is also required.
