We are looking for a Technical and Engineering Services Manager to join our Performance Chemicals team in Savannah, GA.

As a Technical and Engineering Services Manager, you will provide leadership and direction for maintenance, reliability engineering, process control systems, inventory stores, contractor services, and capital project execution. Align engineering and maintenance activities with the site’s Journey to EHS Excellence and business objectives to maximize equipment reliability, production uptime, safety, and cost‑effectiveness.   • Leading maintenance, reliability engineering, process control, project engineering, and inventory stores teams to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.  
  • Developing and managing annual maintenance and capital investment budgets while identifying opportunities to reduce costs, increase equipment availability, and improve long-term asset performance.
  • Directing preventive and predictive maintenance programs and using equipment data to improve maintenance strategies, reduce recurring failures, and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Prioritizing and overseeing capital and maintenance projects to ensure safe execution, technical quality, timely completion, and adherence to approved budgets.
  • Partnering with Operations and other site functions to coordinate maintenance activities, investigate equipment failures, manage technical changes, and limit production disruptions.
  • Recruiting, coaching, and developing engineers, planners, supervisors, and maintenance professionals while establishing clear performance expectations, technical competencies, and development plans.
  • Leading continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to reduce costs and improve reliability.

If you...

 

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering; an MBA is preferred.
  • Bring 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in maintenance, reliability, and engineering within an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of leading technical, engineering, maintenance, and project teams, with at least 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Apply expertise in maintenance and project engineering, equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, process safety management, and management of change processes.
  • Lead the planning and execution of complex capital, reliability, and continuous improvement projects while driving operational excellence and asset performance.
  • Manage operating and capital budgets, resource allocation, contractor performance, and cross-functional initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Utilize SAP and/or similar computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), engineering design tools, condition-monitoring technologies, and reliability performance metrics to support effective decision-making.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, communication, strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; advanced technical or professional certifications are considered a plus.
