We are looking for a Contact Supervisor to join our Performance Chemicals team in Elyria, OH.

As a Contact Supervisor you will lead and supervise a team of chemical operators in a manufacturing environment, providing daily direction, coaching, and support to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production operations while driving team performance and operational excellence.

During your 12-hour shift as a Contact Supervisor, you will

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of chemical operators to achieve excellence in safety, environmental compliance, quality, and productivity.
• Establish clear performance expectations and provide day-to-day direction to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, operating procedures, and company policies.
• Monitor production activities, identify operational issues, and facilitate timely troubleshooting and resolution of process disruptions.
• Communicate safety initiatives, production performance, maintenance requirements, and engineering priorities effectively across shifts and functions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to investigate operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate effective shift handovers and maintain alignment across operations, maintenance, engineering, and other support functions.

If you...

• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Bring a minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment is preferred.
• Demonstrate at least three years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Exhibit the ability to lead, coach, and engage employees in a hands-on operating environment.
• Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
• Offer practical manufacturing knowledge and a results-oriented approach.
• Foster effective collaboration across departments and all levels of the organization.
• Display strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Accommodate a 12-hour, 2-2-3 straight-shift schedule, including day or night shifts.
