BASF’s Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services.

As a Logistics Outside Rover at BASF's Attapulgus Operations site, you will play a critical role in supporting logistics, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities that enable the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. Working closely with Production, Logistics, and Warehouse teams, you will help ensure operational excellence while maintaining BASF's commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

During your 12-hour rotating shift as a Logistics Outside Rover, you will

• Safely operate logistics and material handling equipment to support shipping, receiving, unloading, and product movement activities throughout the site.
• Coordinate truck, railcar, container, and warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform inspections, complete required documentation, monitor equipment condition, and communicate maintenance needs to supervision and team members.
• Assist with product loading, unloading, sampling, labeling, storage, and inventory activities for bulk materials, additives, containers, and customer shipments.
• Collaborate with logistics, production, warehouse, laboratory, and transportation personnel to prioritize workloads and maintain efficient operations.

If you...

• Have a valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate or become qualified to operate site vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Can read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and utilize computer systems to complete operational, shipping, receiving, and safety-related activities.
• Are able to work independently, follow written and verbal instructions, and maintain a high level of attention to safety and quality requirements.
• Are willing and able to work in an industrial manufacturing environment, including outdoor conditions, and use required personal protective equipment.
• Have prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, railcar operations, bulk material handling, or manufacturing operations (preferred).

Pay transparency

The pay rate for this role is $27.86 per the Union's collective bargaining agreement.
