RESPONSIBILITIES

As Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing & maintaining a strong EHS culture by ensuring all employees are aware of and adhere to regulatory requirements and company EHS standards. This includes supporting the site emergency plan and acting as an Incident Liaison Officer or Main Controller when necessary.
  • Plan resources for safe and efficient plant operation by working with the management team. You will be responsible for planning and allocating resources to ensure the safe, lean, efficient and cost-effective operation of the plant.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to your team including actively managing performance, assessing competence and ensuring training and personal development plans are delivered to optimise skill and competencies on shift.
  • Carrying out effective communications, ensuring robust handovers with your partner shift supervisor and team and all other stakeholders. This includes clearly conveying information, providing updates, investigations and driving daily management processes.
  • Maintaining and implementing quality standards ensuring SOP’s are following and adhering to these standards. Also maintaining plant conditions and machinery to ensure they are in running order to ensure smooth operations.

 

Please note: This role requires the flexibility to work on a shift-based schedule, involving rotating Monday-Friday early morning and late afternoons and evenings including occasional weekends (excluding night shifts).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A level standard or equivalent skillset in science/engineering-based topics and forklift counterbalance licence.
  • Proven track record of direct management experience and appropriate EHS, employment regulations / legislation.
  • Good working knowledge of manufacturing plant and processes.
  • Ability to problem-solve systematically and logically in line with lean methodology.
