SC DATA ANALYST & MASTER DATA SPECIALIST

In the Performance Materials Division, we develop innovative plastics and foams for all kinds of applications. Whether it is for cars, buildings or sports goods – we always look for the ideal material solution. To do this, we work closely with our customers: from production and logistics to research and sales, all the way to component testing, design consulting and simulation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and analyze large datasets from ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Create simulation and optimization tools to support strategic planning processes in the area of supply chain.
  • Monitor key metrics to ensure optimal decision-making in operational daily business.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the SC organization.
  • Take comprehensive responsibility for the development of SC team targets.
  • Support and develop the SC team in all data-related and AI topics.
  • Develop predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and lead time prediction.
  • Apply machine learning techniques (e.g., anomaly detection, planning data analysis) to large datasets to address supply chain challenges.
  • Lead or co-lead SC digital transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
  • Build automated data pipelines using Python, SQL or similar tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain or equivalent qualification
  • Min 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or related fields
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Planning, OTC, OTI and Execution Systems
  • Proficient in the relevant IT applications e.g., SAP R/3 & S4/Hana – SD, web applications (e.g., CRM tools and SCM tools), e-commerce solutions
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and machine learning libraries
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Excellent analytical & data skills
  • Fluent English
  • German would be an advantage
