Junior Tax Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

o    Ensuring that the Polish group companies comply with current corporate tax legislation, especially in the area of VAT
o    Preparing VAT tax calculations and declarations (SAF-T, VAT-UE, Intrastat)
o    On-going support for other tax team members
o    Supporting internal and external audits: preparing relevant data, documentation, responses to summons from tax authorities
o    Ongoing analysis, interpretation of tax regulations, monitoring changes in tax law and giving relevant recommendations regarding their application
o    Participating in different projects and business initiatives requiring support in tax matters (restructurings, new ERP system implementation, adaptations of ERP system resulting from the frequent tax law changes

QUALIFICATIONS

o    University Degree in the area of Finance or Accounting
o    Professional Finance & Tax qualification is preferred
o    Min 1 year of experience in taxes as tax specialist or accountant 
o    Practical experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
o    Practical knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP systems is a plus
o    Strong analytical and research skills
o    Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn and face new challenges
o    Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deadlines
o    Customer orientation
o    Problem solving mindset, determined to achieve goals
o    Fluent English is a must
