Global IT Process Owner - FI & Accounts Payables (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In our unit Digital Solutions & IT Architecture, EC/XD, we develop concepts and IT solutions for our global coatings and surface business. We drive innovative solutions, ensure seamless end-to-end processes, and identify global best practices for BASF Coatings locations. In this role:

• You are the application manager and solution architect for the global Coatings FI & AP application landscape.
• You will design, development, and implementation of a dedicated IT landscape for Finance and Accounts Payables. This landscape supports current business objectives and ensures compliance with legal and internal regulations, always in close collaboration with the EC finance department.
• You will take care about the SAP FI module and applications in the area of Finance & Accounts Payables. You will build the bridge to experts from closely related SAP modules such as SD or MM.
• During projects and ongoing maintenance, you collaborate closely with technical implementation partners and independently lead rollouts and projects.
• You will lead a project to globally implement a technical solution to process invoices.
• Your consultancy is valued by our internal partners and leads to a lean but innovative future IT set-up.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science or Business Administration with an IT focus and/or Finance.
• In-depth knowledge of IT landscapes and IT processes in the finance and accounts payables area, ideally in the SAP environment; experience with Process Director is an advantage.
• Proven track of records for project management skills and techniques.
• Several years of experience with IT projects, in a leading position, in the FI module is desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish. Further languages are an advantage.
• Analytical skills and enjoyment of teamwork to achieve optimal results together with internal and external partners.
