Marketing Manager, Personal Care (UK & Nordics)

BASF plc is an agent for BTC Europe GmbH, our pan-European in-house distributor, focused on speciality chemicals and performance polymers. 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You will be the strategic marketing lead for the region—identifying opportunities, driving sales enabling initiatives, and collaborating with a talented team across marketing, sales, and technical service within BASF & BTC. If you thrive in a fast moving, trend led industry, this is your opportunity to make a real commercial and creative impact. 

• Develop and execute the regional marketing strategy for Personal Care across the UK & Nordics, driving profitable growth and portfolio success.
• Translate market, customer, and competitor insights into actionable marketing plans and new business opportunities.
• Partner closely with Sales and Technical teams to engage customers through solution oriented concepts, formulation and trend insights, and technical discussions (virtually and in person).
• Build a strong sales pipeline through targeted product promotions and coordinated go to market initiatives.
• Lead the development of marketing content and campaigns, including formulation concepts, product launches, digital tools, and presentations.
• Own regional digital marketing activity (e.g. LinkedIn, email campaigns) aligned with UK & Nordic consumer trends.
• Plan and manage BASF’s presence at exhibitions, conferences, and industry events, representing the business as a Personal Care subject matter expert.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Degree level education in a relevant subject (Marketing, Business or Chemistry) or equivalent experience.
• Experience promoting raw materials within the Personal Care industry.
• Strong understanding of Personal Care ingredients and consumer trends.
• Knowledge of the UK and/or Nordic Personal Care market is a strong plus.
• A confident communicator who thrives in customer facing environments.
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working within a remote, collaborative team structure.

Please note for this position: you must hold a valid UK driving license.

Location: UK Home-based or Stockport, with frequent travel across UK and Nordics (a company car will be provided)
