RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be part of a team of highly motivated and skilled DFIR experts in the Cyber Defense team of BASF Group.
  • You will take over the responsibility to handle various e-Discoveries and assist in the collection, processing and analysis/review of ESI adhering to federal, corporate and data protection rules.
  • Furthermore, you will support to create and update ESI preservation guidelines, SOPs and help to establish the services any further.
  • You will serve as a liaison between the legal team, the IT personnel, and contractors.
  • You will draft and communicate litigation hold procedures and handle strictly confidential correspondence and data.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science (related technical field) or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years’ experience in e-Discovery or a similar role.
  • Experience with professional e-Discovery software (e.g. OpenText™ Axcelerate™) to preserve, review and analyze data.
  • Scripting/Programming skills (Python, PowerShell, ...).
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Confident communication in English, both spoken and written.
  • You should be self-motivated, quickly learn new software and procedures, show initiative in resolving problems and completing assignments.
  • Preferred certifications:
    • SANS GIAC GCFE - GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner
    • ACEDS Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS)
