WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our product family Industrial Mobility delivers innovative solutions and mobile device infrastructure for BASF production plants and warehouses worldwide. To deliver tailored solutions that support our manufacturing workforce effective and efficiently is our core competency. With our global platform and services, we support our internal business partners end-to-end. From the early stages of solution design and development to roll-out and ongoing service. Developing and managing of numerous mobile applications is a key delivery of our product team. New technologies and innovations as well as sophisticated customer requests are the drivers of our continuous development. 

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Together with our internal customers you elaborate and develop customized solutions to foster new potentials for Industrial Mobility within BASF. 
• With your expertise in mobile application development, you actively contribute to the design, development and operation of mobile applications  
• As part of our global team, you work closely with our front and back-end developers and platform operations to ensure secure and high-quality solution development and stable operations of our services 
• With your experience you are able to identify potentials of digital solutions and evaluation of innovations and new mobile technologies with respect to their added value and scalability for our end user. 

REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor or Master degree in relevant computer science or information technology studies with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. 
• Strong experience in Android applications development with programming and scripting skills in Flutter and Kotlin. 
• Knowledge about SOLID principles, Clean Architecture and Application Security. 
• Experience in application testing and test automation. 
• Expertise in design and integration of micro services, API, MACH frameworks and related cloud technologies are a plus. 
• Team player with strong demonstration and communication skills, fluent in English (spoken and written) 

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in continuous integration and delivery 
• Experience in working in agile teams 
• Knowledge in tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence
