WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance sets the cyber security relevant boundary conditions through group-wide regulations.

• You will join our Governance, Regulatory, and ISMS Team which oversees internal and external regulatory requirement frameworks for the BASF Group.
• Your main responsibility will be ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the field of cyber security (e.g., NIS2, CRA, and industry-specific regulations)
• You will assist BASF business units in understanding current or upcoming cyber security regulations and provide guidance on their implementation.
• You will interact with various stakeholders across all hierarchical levels, including our governance organization and legal and operational units.
• Developing and implementing cyber security strategies, policies, and response plans (e.g., Cybersecurity Reaction Plan) to fulfill legal obligations.
• Additionally, you will support the identification and remediation of gaps in current implementations concerning regulatory compliance.
• You will coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and auditors, and monitor and report compliance status and project progress to management.
