Global Digital Services (GDS) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our MISSION is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture.

The product family Cyber Engineering & IAM Solutions enables the business to operate securely by ensuring consistent security measures and maintaining a unified defense through reliable, standardized engineering practices.
As a product team of this family, the Certificate Management team is a key enabler for Information Security by managing cryptographic keys and digital certificates. It operates and continuously enhances the trust anchor systems Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Hardware Security Module (HSM) and Key Management System (KMS) incl. provisioning of TLS certificates by a Cloud service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a team member of the Certificate Management team, you will be part of a team delivering global IT services in an agile set-up with the following main tasks:

• Configuration and operation of Windows- and Linux-based certificate lifecycle solutions (PKI).
• Creation and customization of processes for certificate lifecycle management.
• Configuration and operation of key management systems and hardware security modules.
• Focus on automation and standardization of the respective use cases, you are responsible for.
• Troubleshooting, ticket handling & Change Management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed Master’s degree or comparable in the field of IT, e.g. Cyber Security, Informatics/ Computer Science, Mathematics
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the environment of PKI/CA and/or cryptography
• Powershell-Scripting, Repository Management over Github, General-Scripting (Azure DevOps)
  Strong commitment, fast comprehension & Innovative thinking skills
• Agile Development & Growth Mindset
• Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking
• English proficiency required

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in working with Thales Safenet HSMs and/or Nexus PKI
