WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are currently seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative digital products, with a focus on both the front-end and back-end components.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You estimate the time and resource requirements of work packages and develop and maintain the front-end and back-end components of our digital products according to user's functional requirements.
• You collaborate closely with the product team and internal/external (IT) partners to successfully implement, optimize, and adapt solutions to changing conditions.
• You regularly conduct tests to ensure the quality, scalability, performance, and security of the developed solutions
• You extract, model, and integrate data from various internal and external sources
• You utilize Azure DevOps as a central development tool to manage code repositories and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as to document development processes. 

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

• University degree, e.g. Bachelor
• Work experience within Digital teams and jobs
• Study and work abroad
• Experience in Internal or external Stakeholder Management
• Experience in agriculture is an advantage
• Programming languages Front-end and backend development
• Quality assurance and testing skills
• Basic skills in project management and project management software (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Basic skills in Cloud provider (Azure / AWS)
• Systematic search for errors
• Analysis techniques
• IT Infrastructure/system landscape
• Data and function modelling
• Data analysis techniques and data transfer formats
• Analythical thinking and problem solving
• Communication skills Knowledge transfer (didactics)
• IT Security
• Advanced english and German (desirable)
