BASF Intermediates specializes in the production and marketing of a wide range of chemicalintermediates. These chemical intermediates are used as essential components in numerousindustries and applications, such as the plastics industry, paints and coatings, pharmaceuticals,agricultural chemicals, textiles, and personal care products.
The BASF Intermediates division is characterized by its focus on innovation, sustainability, andproduct quality. It works closely with its customers to develop customized solutions that meet thespecific requirements and challenges of each industry. Additionally, BASF Intermediates iscommitted to operating responsibly and sustainably, minimizing the environmental impact of itsprocesses and products.
We have locations in Europe, North America, South America and Asia-Pacific. This position it’slocated in the Digital Hub Madrid which is one of our global key locations to deliver digitalsolutions for BASF.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Business Expert Planning Excellence you contribute with your passion for the effectivetranslation of business needs into highly automated business processes as well as yourcompetence in relevant SAP and Planning modules enabling our Supply Chain Planning.

• You act as a link between globally harmonized systems and processes and the actualrequirements in the supply chain, business units and local operations
• As part of the business team, you further develop our business processes and systems in theinterest of our customers.
• Through digitalization, complexity reduction and standardization you continuously optimizeSAP & non-SAP panning processes and systems
• With your practical understanding of processes, you act as a contact person as support indaily operations, change requests as well as in strategic projects.
• You will manage international projects and ensure process understanding in our usercommunities
  By means of proactive change management and test organization with your specialistcommunity, you ensure the effectiveness of our business processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Computer Science, business informatics, economics, business administration orcomparable
• Profound knowledge in project and supply chain management based on at least 3 years ofprofessional experience
• Proficient in consulting & customizing planning applications preferably OMP and SAP, as wellas data analysis tools (e.g. PowerBI)
• Theoretical and practical knowledge regarding agile methodologies
• Practical experience in creating a culture of continuous improvement
• Business fluent English skills, German is an advantage
• Strong communication and persuasive skills as well as customer orientation
  • i.e. ability to explain technically complex issues in a simple way
