(Senior) DevOps Developer - Identity Management (m/f/d)

Identity Management Systems are one of the most crucial systems in the area of Cyber Security and strongly connected to Zero Trust architecture. We, as Identity Management Team in Cyber Security, are responsible for providing secure, audit proof and user-friendly identity management systems for our internal and external users.

We are looking for a talented and experienced (Senior) DevOps Developer or DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to our Identity Management initiatives, specifically focusing on One Identity Manager.

As a (Senior) DevOps Developer / DevOps Engineer in Identity Management, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our identity and access management solutions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the operations of our One Identity Manager platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of IAM systems within our infrastructure.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Design, develop, and maintain identity management solutions using One Identity Manager.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and development teams to integrate identity management solutions with existing systems.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identity management systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in identity management and DevOps.
• Steering and close collaboration with platform team

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Development and DevOps (incl. Agile Working)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, .NET, SQL, and Angular which are commonly used in One Identity Manager development
• Experience in Identity Management (nice to have)
• Living and improvement of own BASF Wining Ways Behaviors – Own it, Drive it – Excel in it
• Language: excellent communication skill in English is essential
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and environments.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables.
