Senior Specialist Global Functional Process Owner O2C - Finance (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Due to the strategic realignment of the Coatings business unit, a dedicated finance department is being established. This presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the finance organization from its foundation. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Specialist Global Functional Process Owner Order-to-Cash Finance with the following objectives:

• You own the global Order-to-cash (O2C) Finance processes, which includes Customer Master Data, Invoicing and Billing, Cash Applications, Collections, Dunning & Accounts Receivable Management.
• You establish and maintain global standards for Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, ensuring these are aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements across the coatings division.
• Moreover, you oversee the O2C activities, identify and drive process improvement opportunities, leveraging technology and digital solutions to enhance automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the finance organization.
• You manage a third-party business process provider in the area of O2C and will implement process performance KPIs to steer the service provider.
• In addition, collaborate closely with related functions such as P2P and B2R, you will coordinate integration efforts and you will ensure holistic alignment of financial processes.
• Last but not least, you engage with internal stakeholders to ensure that O2C processes meet business needs and support strategic objectives. 

WHAT YOU OFFER

• university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; additional certifications such as CMA or CPA are an advantage
• at least 10 years of work experience in financial process management and optimization, with a strong focus on O2C activities in a multinational corporation
• experience in the chemicals industry or related industry, particularly during transitions or carve-outs, is highly beneficial
• strong understanding of O2C processes and process optimization methodologies
• proficiency in SAP R/3 and S/4, process mapping tools, and advanced MS Office skills
• excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment
• fluency in English is required
