The Intermediates Division develops, produces and markets a comprehensive range of intermediate products, such as amines, diols, polyalcohols, acids and specialties. The intermediate products are used, for example, as raw materials for fuels, pharmaceuticals, textiles, cleaning agents and pesticides. Our innovative products contribute to improving the properties of the end products and the efficiency of the manufacturing processes.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The Strategic Marketing unit within the Intermediates division develops global market strategies and analyzes competitive landscapes for intermediate products. It supports investment and sustainability projects and collaborates closely with technology, innovation, and project teams. Using digital tools like Power BI and MELI, the unit drives data-based decision-making and the transformation toward sustainable business models.
- You will be responsible for migrating and consolidating Excel data sets into modern tools
- You will co-design Power BI dashboards to provide insightful visualizations, such as market map, import and export flow.
- Your tasks will include cleaning and streamlining SharePoint content to improve accessibility and relevance. You will also help optimize MS Teams usage to enhance digital collaboration and workspace efficiency.
- You will automate the creation of PowerPoint slides and develop tools to support strategy and operational decision making, and ensure data consistency and alignment.
- With you, we are moving forward! You will actively contribute to the optimization of digital work processes and support the implementation of strategic sustainability initiatives.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- current studies in Business Informatics/Information Systems, Computer Science/Software Engineering, or a comparable field
- initial practical experience in using digital tools, ideally in a business-related environment
- Experience in Excel, Power Bi, SharePoint, and MS Teams
- good German and English skills and familiarity with SharePoint and MS Teams
- strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, Interest in sustainability, digital transformation and strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Members from states outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland are requested to send their residence/work permit, including the relevant supplementary sheet as well as the completed questionnaire.

- Remuneration – Remuneration is in accordance with the collective agreement for the chemical industry. With a weekly working time of 20 hours, the current gross monthly salary is €1,784.
- Flexible working hours – depending on the assignment unit, temporary full-time employment during the lecture-free period (semester break) is possible by arrangement
