RESPONSIBILITIES
With the START IN HRBP trainee program, you will gain deep and diverse insights into many operational and strategic areas of an industrial multinational through challenging tasks, exciting projects, and responsibility from day one. Your trainee journey starts on April 1, 2025 and allows you to gain experience in these areas:
- Global Business Unit: The first 12-month pit-stop will be in of our global business units in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. After a thorough induction you will take over the tasks of an HR Business Partner and will be responsible for your own unit. You will advise managers on the topics of personnel planning, recruitment, personnel development and you drive the performance management process.
- Assignment abroad: Out of the 12 months at the business unit, you can spend 3 months at one of our locations in Europe, Asia, North- or South America to gain the international experience and expand your intercultural skills.
- Shared Service Center: Next, you move on to our Service Hub in Berlin for 6 months, in which you deep-dive into its open, diverse, collaborative, and service-oriented culture when supporting the operational business and strategic projects.
- Central HR Unit & Flexible rotation opportunity: Afterwards, in order to further broaden your perspective, you will get to know one of our central units of HR like Corporate HR or site HR Ludwigshafen. Together we plan whether you stay here for 6 months or just 3 months to make use of the flexible rotation opportunity. This way you can step out of your comfort zone and get to know any other field of expertise @BASF (e.g. Marketing, Sales).
- After the trainee program, you will take on a challenging HRBP role in one of our business units. Ideally in the area, in which you already worked.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You do not tick all the boxes? Never mind – we are searching for convincing personalities.
- Master’s degree with above-average grades in business administration specialized in HR or a similar field of study
- Internships in HR and ideally experience in an international environment
- First relevant work experience and knowledge of the HR value chain
- Strong need and customer orientation
- Self-confident appearance
- Effective communication in German and English
