WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In our Global Product Management unit, we actively shape the strategic direction of our global product portfolio in the Performance Chemicals business. Together with international partners along the entire value chain, we drive innovation, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • In your new position, you are responsible for developing and implementing global and local sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, cost targets, and risk management priorities, ensuring cost leadership through benchmarking and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • You maintain and improve the existing toller and co-producer network, managing supplier relationships through KPIs, scorecards, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • In addition, you identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers on a global and local scale, conduct supplier audits and performance assessments, and lead contract manufacturing projects.
  • You negotiate commercial terms such as pricing, service levels, lead times, and contracts, establish long-term supplier agreements as well as preferred supplier lists, and monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply risks, including appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Last but not least, you ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and sustainability requirements, support demand planning and inventory optimization in close collaboration with planning and production teams, and ensure accurate and complete documentation for audits and reporting.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • completed master’s degree in Chemistry, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • at least five years of professional experience in sourcing, ideally in marketing, product management, supply chain, sales, R&D, or production
  • in-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing methods, negotiation techniques, supplier management, and basic contract law, combined with a strong analytical and project-oriented working style
  • strong communication skills with proficiency in English
  • demonstrated leadership skills, team player with intercultural competence and willingness to travel regularly
