WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth, leading regional strategy execution, and managing the sales and technical teams. The role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, expanding market share, and ensuring effective implementation of commercial strategies across the assigned region.

Duties will include the following:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Sales and Technical teams
  • Drive execution of regional business strategies and ensure alignment with overall objectives
  • Manage and prioritize the customer portfolio to maximize growth and profitability
  • Achieve targets for sales, market share, and gross margins
  • Lead business development and identify new strategic customer opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and act as main point of contact
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, including corrective actions where needed
  • Ensure effective collaboration with internal teams, including supply chain and credit management
  • Drive disciplined sales execution, including reporting, customer engagement, and performance tracking

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • Completed tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field (e.g. BCom, MBA)
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales, commercial, or financial management roles
  • Experience within the automotive, coatings, or manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Proven track record in sales leadership and team management
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive performance and profitability
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and digital literacy skills
