- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental management and legislation.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety & Environmental management systems and environmental legislation.
- Fluent in English
- Possession of a Class B Occupational Health and Safety Specialist certificate.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to demonstrate leadership.
- Possession of analytical thinking skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs.
- B Driving Licence.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our company is seeking an experienced and talented Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (Class B) for our Automotive Paints Business Unit in Turkey.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and legislation (Occupational Health & Safety & Environment)
- Implementing BASF's occupational health and safety policies and procedures
- Continuously improving the Occupational Health & Safety & Environmental Management System and Safety Culture
- Assessing occupational health and safety risks, taking preventive measures, and making updates
- Organizing and conducting occupational health and safety training and raising awareness among staff
- Investigating and reporting accidents, injuries, and illnesses at work
- Conducting workplace inspections and reports
- Continuously monitoring and improving occupational health and safety performance
- Participating in local and global projects related to occupational health and safety
