ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Maintenance Intern to join our team for ~ 6 months. This internship offers hands on experience within a dynamic chemical manufacturing environment, supporting the development of robust maintenance strategies through data collection, equipment documentation, and standardisation efforts.
As an intern, you will collaborate closely with our Maintenance, Utilities, and Production teams to gather and organise critical technical information that will directly influence equipment criticality assessments, maintenance planning, and long term asset reliability.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

This internship offers exposure to many areas of industrial engineering, maintenance, and operations. By the end of the placement, you will gain experience in:
•    Field inspections and technical data gathering
•    Understanding how plant equipment operates in a chemical manufacturing environment
•    Reading P&IDs, manuals, and engineering drawings
•    Working with maintenance planning tools and asset databases
•    Equipment classification and reliability principles
•    Cross-functional collaboration with engineers, technicians, and operators

WHAT WE EXPECT

Ideal candidates will have:
•    3rd Year degree student in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
•    Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
•    Curiosity and willingness to learn
•    Good communication skills and the ability to work in the field
•    Basic technical understanding of industrial equipment (beneficial but not required)
