Business Expert SAP (m/f)

Integrated in the Performance Polyamides division of BASF France, you will join an European Supply Chain team that is part of a regional organization with functional leadership in Germany. Our company is one of the world leaders in the Nylon / Polyamide chain and has different factories on all continents (Europe, Asia, Americas).
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Based in Lyon or Chalampé, but spending half of your time in Chalampé (Alsace), you will support and focus mainly on the chemical industrial platform of Chalampé to ensure an SAP expert role.

The position's main focus is to be the Business Expert for sales and Supply Chain Management, focus on SAP, Digitalization (Integrated Planning Systems), E-Commerce, CRM.

The main responsibilities are to 
 

• Support the conception, testing, Implementation and continuous improvement of Supply Chain & OTC processes;
• Act as functional lead of key-users;
• Consult function with regard to IT based questions for business processes;
• Insure the coordination of master data maintenance;
• Be responsible for the end-user training and support;
• Build up documentation and self-learning tools/processes for end-user (MS Teams, sharepoint, etc.);
• Be part of the future deployment team related to implementation of S/4 Hana;
• Be the bridge between the local team and ther central German team on IT related projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Higher education in Engineering School in Supply Chain, Sales, IT, with 3 years of experience on similar functions;
• You have good knowledge and agility with enterprise information systems and especially SAP;
• You are able to synthesize and formalize complex processes: roles and responsibilities, information flows and physical flows;
• Your professional background has allowed you to develop a global vision of your profession and a real autonomy in your missions;
• You are used to working in a complex environment with multiple interfaces and know how to be proactive;
• you show strong communication skills, are customer and results oriented and can convince others;
• As a true facilitator on a daily basis, you have already had the opportunity to distinguish yourself by your interpersonal skills and your adaptability;
• Fluent English an at least a B2 level in French is required for this position. A good level of German would be a plus.
