Our Çayırova Production Site is one of our key facilities, specializing in sulfation processes and operating low and high-temperature reactors that serve diverse chemical industries. The site plays a vital role in producing Personal and Home Care products, contributing to everyday life worldwide.
As part of our team, you will take ownership of automation and electrical engineering projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable operations while driving continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electrical/electronic engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of industrial automation, including PLC programming and DCS systems
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in English and Turkish
- Residence on Istanbul’s Asian side or in Kocaeli
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and drive continuous improvement projects that enhance efficiency and reliability
- Apply your expertise in automation, electrical, and instrumentation engineering to design and implement safe, cutting-edge operations
- Take ownership of automation decisions for new investments and define technical requirements
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are planned and executed to minimize downtime
- Oversee management of change processes and ensure proper documentation across disciplines
- Define project scope, estimate timelines, and monitor progress for electrical and mechanical plant modifications
- Prepare technical specifications and support procurement for equipment and services
- Guarantee compliance with BASF standards, guidelines, and legal regulations
- Contribute to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) reviews, including HAZOP and risk assessments
- Ensure all designs and completed works meet quality, safety, and environmental standards
