QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of polymer dispersions, preferably architectural coatings industry
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment and testing methods used in the paint industry. 
• Competency in MS Office programs. 
• Intermediate English skills (willingness to improve is a plus). 
• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer-focused mindset. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Dispersions   Resins Europe is a regional business unit that develops and produces dispersions, resins and additives which are used for the formulation of adhesives, architectural coatings, fiber bonding, construction chemicals, paper coatings, automotive and industrial coatings, furniture and floor coatings as well as printing inks and packaging coatings.

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician for dispersions for architectural coatings and construction systems.  This role will be responsible for: 

• Conduct laboratory tests and evaluate the performance of paint and coatings formulations. 
• Support R&D activities in collaboration with the laboratory manager. 
• Develop and implement new test methods to enhance product performance. 
• Maintain and update customer and competitor data for market intelligence. 
• Prepare technical documents and reports. 
• Assist in the maintenance and renewal of laboratory equipment. 
• Work closely with Quality Control and Production teams to ensure seamless operations.
