Objectives of the Position         

• HDPE product properties and competitor product technical properties benchmarking analysis.
• Optimize product properties and downstream technical application analysis.
• Support the Lab function establishment. 

Main Tasks:

1. Lab Function

• Receive all kinds of training according to the company's arrangement and can provide analytical services.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new laboratory equipment and the establishment, calibration, and verification of methods.
• Participate in the preparation of analytical methods and management systems.

2. Lab Operation

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical tasks safely, accurately and efficiently according to laboratory testing plans.
• Do daily maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Carry out good daily housekeeping and proper waste disposal in the lab.
• Monitor and manage equipment abnormality.

3. Technical Service Supporting

• Trouble shooting sample analysis.
• Support marketing and manufacture to development new product grade and new downstream application.
• Support to conduct Product Qualification & Certification Application.

4. Product Development

• Meet and Improve product market competitiveness by optimizing grade properties
• Study product technical value proposition vs. competitor’s benchmark grades in lab
• Regular engagement and connecting with site technical department as focal point of HDPE TS team for product optimization and improvement topics.

Job Requirements:

1. Education: College degree or above, Chemistry/Industrial & Applied Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related area.
2. Working Experience: At least 3 years working experience in Polyethylene business, rich experience of pipe extrusion, blow molding, blown film or injection prefer.
3. Technical & Professional Knowledge:
   • Familiar with typical plastic QC lab equipment.
   • Good communication skills in mandarin.
   • Good command on reading English.
   • Good computer skills.
