Objectives of the Position

As part of the Talent Acquisition team for Asia Pacific (APAC) region, you will be reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and supporting the team in managing recruitment tasks. Through this internship, you will get to learn more about Human Resources related to Business, Marketing, Human Resources and Communications. You will also have the opportunity to take charge of projects, delivering well-rounded solutions in elevating the experience of our new employee onboarding processes as well as supporting the implementation of the strategic people agenda. Besides, you will gain hands-on experience in the recruitment field and international exposure to work with diverse colleagues from different countries in APAC.

 

Main Tasks

Depending on business needs, your day-to-day responsibilities may include the following:

  • Support candidate sourcing through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including file management, documentation, and data maintenance.
  • Assist in organising and coordinating recruitment-related events, activities, and engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in team improvement discussions and contribute to improvement plans, timelines, and follow-up actions.
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics, such as candidates sourced, conversion rates, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digitalisation; prepare business cases and support implementation of digitalisation and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Continuously review, update, and maintain knowledge documents within areas of expertise to support the development of a competence hub.
  • Design and review portal content to enhance the new employee onboarding experience, including researching new tool features based on user needs and requirements.

 

Requirements

  • Able to commit to a minimum internship period of three (3) months.
  • Currently pursuing or completing the final year of a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, IT, or other related disciplines.
  • Good planning and organisational skills, with an interest in administrative support and coordination.
  • Independent, proactive, and eager to learn, with the willingness to take on new initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.
  • A strong team player with a flexible, positive mindset and good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable and technology-savvy, with a strong interest in learning and applying digital tools to support recruitment and HR processes.
