Objectives of the Position

• Ensure Seamless Order Fulfillment and Customer Satisfaction
  Deliver a flawless end-to-end order management process, from order intake to shipment and invoicing, while maintaining proactive communication to meet customer-specific requirements and enhance overall satisfaction.

• Optimize Operational Efficiency and Compliance
  Drive accuracy and timeliness in order processing, inventory control, and returns management, ensuring adherence to BASF guidelines, local finance procedures, and global trade compliance standards.

• Foster Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
  Act as a key liaison between Customer Service, Supply Chain, and cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, support credit and billing processes, and champion process automation and innovation for sustainable growth.

How You Will Do It 

• Primary Customer Interface
  Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring accountability for all day-to-day order inquiries and related activities. Drive a seamless end-to-end order flow, including order acceptance, validation, entry, and delivery note creation. Oversee shipment tracking and VAT posting in alignment with customer-specific requirements.

• Order Management Excellence
  Manage daily order collection and verification. Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, maintaining compliance with internal standards and customer agreements..

• Material Availability & Order Confirmation
  Conduct material availability checks and confirm orders promptly. Provide proactive communication to customers regarding any deviations. Execute accurate and timely Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN) and supply all necessary dispatch details, including shipping documents and special labeling when required.

• Issue Resolution & Compliance
  Initiate and resolve order blocks efficiently, leveraging deep knowledge of BASF guidelines (e.g., credit blocks, dunning processes, export restrictions). Maintain strict adherence to compliance standards.

• Returns & Financial Adjustments
  Handle returns processing and provide support on credit/debit note issuance in accordance with local finance procedures, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

• Inventory Control & Cost Optimization
  Oversee third-party warehouse inventory, applying established controls to maximize delivery performance and minimize costs. Responsibilities include aged stock monitoring, write-off processes, annual inventory counts, and physical stock verification.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Partner closely with Planning, Sales, Engineering/Inner Sales, and Export & Customs teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. Support Inner Sales in credit management, billing, and accounts receivable activities.

• Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  Contribute to the ongoing development of the Supply Chain and Customer Service organization in China, in Asia, in Global. Champion process improvements, such as automation initiatives, to enhance order management efficiency.

What We Look For 

Education:

• University degree or above in international trade, logistics, supply chain or related discipline.

Working Experience:

•  3years of relevant experience, automotive industry background preferred.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

• Good Korean, English in both oral and written is a must.
• General order processing knowhow & familiar with international trading.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications & SD module in SAP.
