BASF’s Partner Integration & Data Ecosystem team provides external partner integrations to exchange transactional business messages via electronic data interchange (EDI) in Order Management, Procurement and Logistics.
Moreover, we enable the secure and standardized exchange of data with external partners through digital dataspaces leverage frameworks and infrastructure for participation in data ecosystems (e.g. Catena-X, Chem-X or other Gaia-X based initiatives)
We aim to raise transactional message and data sharing efficiency with external business partners by providing reliable, compliant, cost-efficient and standardized business partner integration and data sharing solutions allowing fast onboardings.
In this role, you will support the team in establishing, improving and running their scrum processes, other team structures, meetings and workshops. You ensure a balanced resource utilization, knowledge management and on-time provision of team deliverables.
Responsibilities and Key Outcomes
- Ensure the continuous delivery of the team
- Support creation, tracking and communication of the team’s vision, mission, roadmap and achievements
- Running scrum processes for multiple product teams and projects/initiatives
- Running team meetings and workshops
- Establishing and improving team structures, e.g. support process
- Ensure the team’s knowledge management (sharing, upskilling, documentation)
- Support the team’s retrospectives and target reviews
Job Requirements
Education and work experience
- Master's degree in computer science or STEM major with 4-6 years of IT or related field experience OR
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM major with 6-8 years of IT or related field experience OR
- Diploma or comparable training with 6+ years of professional experience in IT/application development
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years related working experience
- Experiencing Agile way of working or agile implementation approach
- Work experience in an international company is a plus
- Team Maturity: The teams are generally mature, self-organizing, and experienced. The role is less about directing day-to-day work and more about coaching, facilitation, and continuous improvement. Ability to establish and mature Agile ways of working from the ground up, while ensuring Scrum practices are adopted and sustained effectively.
- Independence: The individual should be able to work autonomously, proactively identify improvement opportunities, manage dependencies, and facilitate alignment without requiring close supervision.
- Stakeholder Management: The role involves regular collaboration with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects, Technical Leads, and cross-functional teams. Strong communication and facilitation skills are essential.
- Agile Expertise: Good experience in Agile practices (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean and SAFe), team coaching, workshop facilitation, retrospectives, planning, and organizational agility is expected.
- Azure DevOps, ServiceNOW & Metrics: Good knowledge of Azure DevOps and ServiceNOW, dashboards, and delivery and operation metrics is important to support transparency, reporting, and data-driven continuous improvement.
- Coaching mindset, strong interpersonal skills, pragmatism, adaptability, and the ability to influence without authority.
- Good presentation & moderation skills (incl. good PPT creation skills)
- Experiences in a role of a DevOps team – either development or operations side or both
- Experiences as a Product Owner
- Knowledge in SAP
- Knowledge in order management, procurement or logistics processes
- Knowledge in EDI, partner integrations or similar
