Role Overview

The role provides application development and support for SAP S/4HANA front-end solutions, ensuring stable operations, fast incident resolution, user-friendly Fiori applications and continuous improvement across the AMS landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

• Application support: Receive, prioritize and resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP Fiori/UI5, Launchpad, OData and SAP Gateway.
• Front-end support and enhancement: Analyze, troubleshoot, enhance and maintain SAP standard and custom Fiori/UI5 applications, including implementation of minor enhancements and SAP-supported extension scenarios.
• Standard issue resolution: Troubleshoot user issues, authorization errors, application defects, Launchpad configuration, browser/debugging issues and performance problems using defined procedures and knowledge articles. Perform regression testing and validation of fixes and enhancements to ensure application stability and usability.
• Cross-team coordination: Work with functional consultants, ABAP developers, Basis, security and integration teams to resolve defects and interface dependencies.
• Problem management: Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis and support permanent corrective actions to improve system stability.
• Change and release support: Support approved fixes, enhancements, testing, transport preparation, release activities and hyper care/cutover support.
• Operational excellence: Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles to improve first-time resolution and knowledge reuse.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications :

• SAP development experience of 4+ years, including hands-on SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Experience extending SAP standard Fiori applications using SAP-supported enhancement techniquesGood technical knowledge of SAPUI5, SAP Fiori, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML Views, JSON and responsive design.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori Launchpad, SAP Gateway and OData services.
• Basic ABAP knowledge for troubleshooting, analysis of backend implementations, and collaboration with backend development teams
• Strong experience with ITSM processes, ticket handling, incident management, change management and structured troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of SAP authorizations, debugging tools, browser developer tools, application logs, interfaces and integration monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills, customer orientation and clear communication in English.
  
  

Nice to Have :

• Experience with SAP BTP, Fiori Elements, CDS Views or RAP.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, SAP Business Application Studio, and Git-based development workflows.
• CI/CD or DevOps practices.
• SAP Fiori/UI5 or SAP BTP certification; German, Spanish or Mandarin language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of multilingual application development and SAP translation (i18n) concepts.
