Responsibilities :
 
Leadership & Organisation 

• Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional product teams, fostering ownership, accountability, and high performance 

• Drive workforce planning and capability development to ensure end-to-end delivery excellence 

• Act as a role model for agile leadership and BASF values 
  
  

Product Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership 

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligned with business priorities and OTI leadership 

• Own the full product lifecycle from ideation to retirement, ensuring continuous value delivery 

• Translate business objectives into a clear, prioritised product portfolio 
  
  

Business Value & Financial Steering 

• Accountable for business value delivery, product performance, and adoption 

• Manage product budget, resource allocation, and investment decisions, balancing cost, value, and risk 

• Steer product development based on KPIs, ROI, and business impact 
  
  

Delivery & Transformation Execution 

• Own end-to-end delivery responsibility for OTI within the SAP S/4HANA programme 

• Ensure reliable, high-quality delivery across multiple teams, removing organisational impediments 

• Drive clean core principles and minimise unnecessary customisation 

• Oversee deployments, including release planning, change management, and user enablement 
  
  

Stakeholder & Partner Management 

• Act as the primary interface between senior business stakeholders and product teams 

• Build strong relationships across Sales, Finance, Logistics, and IT 

• Steer external partners and vendors, ensuring performance and delivery quality 

• Ensure transparency on progress, risks, and decisions 
  
  

Portfolio Collaboration & Innovation 

• Collaborate across the OTI product portfolio to ensure alignment, synergies, and reuse 

• Foster knowledge exchange and best practice sharing 

• Identify and drive AI-enabled use cases and emerging technologies to enhance OTI processes 
  
  

Governance & Compliance 

• Ensure compliance with BASF standards, architecture principles, and governance frameworks 

Must-have Skills & Experience :

• 6+ years of experience in product management, including leadership of cross-functional teams 

• Proven ability to define and execute product strategy in complex enterprise environments 

• Strong people leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams 

• Excellent stakeholder management skills at senior level, influencing across organisational boundaries 

• Solid understanding of agile frameworks and scaling across multiple teams 

• Experience in Order-to-Invoice, Supply Chain, or ERP environments (e.g. SAP S/4HANA) 

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to steer via data, KPIs, and business impact 

• Ability to engage with architects and engineers on solution design and feasibility 

• Strong commitment to standardisation and clean core principles 

• Experience in large-scale transformation programmes 

• Exposure to AI-driven innovation in business processes
